National IT Industry Promotion Agency concluded a service agreement for collaboration
in the e-learning quality assurance business with the Telecommunications
Technology Association, an examination and certificate authority, in order to
strengthen the quality competitiveness of the domestic e-learning industry.

The Ministry of Knowledge
Economy and the National IT Industry Promotion Agency organized a SW maestro mentor
group consisting of the 30 leading talents in the SW field, as a part of its
initiative to cultivate the human resources required to make Korea a SW powerhouse.
Members of the group were granted appointment certificates.

160 members, including IT Special Assistant Haesuk Oh, Vice-Minister of
Knowledge Economy Hyungho An, President of the National IT Industry Promotion
Agency Gyeongwon Jeong, and other major SW enterprises executives,
participated in a meeting at which a range of topics were discussed, including the
potential directions for Korea’s SW industry.
