Korea-EU ICT forum NIPA held the 'Korea-EU Cooperation Forum on ICT' 2 times(June 16~18 and December 1~3, 2008) to exchange information on R&D project and cooperate. Likewise, NIPA will build a cooperation network between Korea and the EU through seminars and joint research planning and the systematic support researchers. NIPA will hold the 3rd forum and seminar on June 2009. ICT R&D International Symposium NIPA holds the 'ICT R&D International Symposium' every year to foster international competence and build a comprehensive network. Through this symposium, NIPA tries to communicate our policy and programs to the world and aims at strategically benchmarking advanced practices. During the first symposium held in October 2007, participants discussed the policies and public R&D of Japan, Australia, and Malaysia studied advanced practices and talked about common issues. The 2nd International Symposium (International Policy Symposium on National ICT R&D) was held in October, dealing with ICT R&D System/Policy and ICT R&D Program of USA, Europe, Japan, China, Taiwan, and Korea. NIPA will hold the 3rd Symposium on October, 2009. This year's main theme is 'Green IT'.
