- Propulsion of follow-up measures of strategy to leap forward to become an SW Powerhouse through creating an environment of fair competition, supporting convergence SW commercialization, and applying SW engi neering to the field (14 sub-projects every month).
- Activating Public use of SW and Establishing a New Market
- Providing the base for the creation of new SW service market, such as SaaS
- Strengthening technology support by focusing on public SW capability plaza (opening in Aug, 2009)
- Establishing an idea hub for the creation of new business; SW+ service, and promoting consultation regarding business validity in relation to the excellent ideas of small and medium enterprises (about 20 cases) (Sep.)
- Improving the Effectiveness of Local SW Promotion Support
- Supporting cross-linking in the functions of R&D of IT Specialized Institutes, and local IT promotion agency marketing and business according to the business reorganization of a metropolitan unit.
Strengthening SW Quality Competitiveness by establishing a quantitative SW quality management system and distributing the research, development, applications, and outcomes of SW engineering technology
- Proliferating SW Engineering Technology and Improving Recognition
- Supporting the application of SW engineering technology to the field, to improve the quality competitiveness of small and medium SW enterprises
- Applying the collaborative development of viable co-technologies in SW engineering technology to enterprises
- Promoting recognition through SW quality conferences, technology seminars, and publicity
- Promoting SW Quality Advancement
- Performing independent SW quality management from the third perspective to secure a global level of quality in the WBS project,which is a follow-up measure in the strategy to become an SW powerhouse ('Oct. 10.~'Dec.)
- Operating quality certification system and certification examination to improve the SW process quality of SW enterprises and development organizations, and secure reliability (15 cases in 2009 →20 cases in 2010 )
- Improving the system for estimating information business cost to enable reasonable estimations of cost and improved productivity. - Developing information cooperation projects with developing countries along with the World Bank (Mar), dispatching joint support teams to these countries and supporting of information consulting (Aug.)
- Promoting patent models in joint development, and the application thereof to developing countries for the international diffusion of the United Nations' World Intellectual Property Organization and domestic patent information model
- Strengthening the Export Capabilities of Package SW, and Pioneering the Market for IT Services
- Support mentoring by leading medium and small enterprises with overseas market experience to increase the possibility of success for domestic package SW enterprises that lack overseas experience
- Promoting patent models in joint development, and the application thereof to developing countries for the international diffusion of the United Nations' World Intellectual Property Organization and domestic patent information model
- Activating Overseas Expansion by Strengthening Cooperation among Organizations
- Maximizing efficiency in IT export business through cooperation with export organizations such as KOTRA
